PARENT AND FAMILY LEADERSHIP GIVING
Family support makes every difference in students’ success at Oregon State University.
Whether you’re a parent, guardian, or family member – and even if your student is now a proud alumnus – you are warmly invited to join a community dedicated to helping all students thrive.
Make an Impact
Parent and Family Fund
When you make a gift to the Parent and Family Fund, you’re supporting initiatives that help new students transition to OSU as well as wellness programs that allow all students to learn and grow.
Your gift will directly affect priorities such as:
• Student mental health programs
• Food and resource insecurity
• Recovery support
• Sexual violence prevention

Get Involved
Parent and Family Leadership Council
Parents and family members who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more to the Parent and Family Fund are invited to join the Parent and Family Leadership Council.
Each year the council meets on campus during Fall and Spring Family Weekends. Hosted by the dean of student life, these gatherings offer opportunities for you to ask questions, provide feedback, and help shape OSU programs and services. Unable to attend in person? You’re welcome to participate via video conference call.
Council members serve as ambassadors for Oregon State among fellow parents at home and on campus. They volunteer their time by:
• Hosting local send-offs for incoming students
• Participating in recruitment activities at high schools
• Sharing their experience with fellow OSU parents
Active participation in the Parent and Family Leadership Council is a fun and rewarding way to share in your family member’s college experience and deepen your connection with the university – before and after graduation.
