Oregon State is a university where students can reach their full potential
— and generous donors like you make it possible.
Last fiscal year, a community of 17,191 alumni, friends, parents, employees and students made gifts under $50,000, collectively contributing more than $21.8 million in support of students and programs across the university.
Remarkably, 21% of these community members were Beaver Leadership Circle donors contributing $1,000 or more annually.
Because of you, last academic year, students like Finish in Four Scholar and future veterinarian Claudia Juarez, ’29, and OSU-Cascades computer science student Dakota Rentz, ’28, received transformational scholarship support that opened doors to internships, international service-learning trips and more.
Year by year, students at Oregon State have access to greater support and opportunities, because of the culture of philanthropy that you help build.
Thank you for being part of this special community.
The Beaver Leadership Circle
is building OSU’s bright future.

Claudia Juarez, ’29
College of Agricultural Sciences and Honors College
When Claudia learned she’d been awarded a Finish in Four scholarship, she watched a weight lift from her parents’ shoulders. “This scholarship isn’t just about one student getting an education. It means a lot to my whole family.” A first-generation student, her progress toward becoming a veterinarian is enriched by hands-on learning opportunities afforded to her by scholarship support, from joining clubs and conferences to traveling to Mexico on a faculty-led veterinary service project.
Dakota Rentz, ’28
College of Engineering
Drawn to OSU-Cascades’ small class sizes, computer science student Dakota has found a community that challenges him academically and encourages his personal and professional growth. Faculty connections led to an internship with a veterans advocacy and support organization and hands-on learning experiences that are helping him prepare for graduate school. He credits scholarships with making his path possible. “This support has truly been a game changer. It’s given me the freedom to focus on my education without constantly worrying about the cost.”
Cammy and Eric Chastain
OSU Parents
Cammy and Eric — parents of Becca, an honors anthropology major — consider giving to the Honors College a natural continuation of their decades of K-12 involvement, from parent organizations to sports teams. “OSU is big, but it’s not too big for one family to make a difference,” they say. “We thought we would look for some way not just to benefit our daughter, but to benefit other students as well, now or in the future.”

Beavers Fight Hunger
Offering peer-to-peer education and a food pantry that serves hundreds of students each week, the Basic Needs Center helps students access healthy food and strategies for navigating life on a budget. Through the annual Beavers Fight Hunger initiative last fall, nearly 500 donors contributed $126,951 to cover a majority of the costs of the center’s essential operations. Dam Proud Day
With 12,400+ gifts raising over $4.1 million for more than 250 funds, it was another record-breaking year for OSU’s annual day of giving, Dam Proud Day! Every gift, of every size, made a difference as 8,350 donors leaned in together to support their favorite university programs in the span of 24 hours. See a special Dam Proud Day impact report.
OSU Athletics
Fueled by the momentum of Pac-12 Conference realignment and an evolving college athletics landscape, annual giving donors to Oregon State Athletics together gave $4,252,009. The Valley Challenge for Student-Athletes accelerated support in the final months and will continue momentum and efforts in fiscal year 2027. Finish in Four
A key component of OSU’s strategic plan, the Finish in Four initiative is designed to help Oregon resident students complete their exceptional education so they can earn their degree, start their careers and serve their communities — all with minimal debt. Last academic year, annual giving donors gave $631,789 to support this initiative, OSU’s philanthropic priority for student success. Learn about Finish in Four.
