How Your Commitment Supports Student-Athletes and Beaver Athletics
Supporting Oregon State Athletics goes beyond game day. Through philanthropic support, your generosity helps sustain competitive excellence while supporting the academic, personal, and long-term success of Oregon State student-athletes.
This page explains how contributions are recognized, how giving is applied, and how your investment in our student-athletes helps strengthen Beaver Athletics today and for the future, while providing Beaver Points for recognition of your dedication and commitment.
Beaver Points vs. Total Investment
Beaver Points and Total Investment are two ways Oregon State Athletics recognizes donor contributions. The two systems are a result of the 2018 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Each serves a distinct purpose and helps ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency across ticketing and giving opportunities.
Beaver Points
Beaver Points reflect qualifying contributions that directly support Oregon State Athletics and are used to determine priority for ticket placement at home athletic events.
Beaver Points are used for:
- Ticket placement for home games
- Priority access to season tickets
- Seating opportunities for home events

How to Increase Beaver Points and Total Investment
There are several ways to grow both your impact and your recognition through continued support of Oregon State Athletics.
Ways to increase your Beaver Points and Total Investment include:

- Purchasing additional season tickets that include seat contributions
- Making a gift to a capital project, sport-specific initiative, or endowment
Ways to grow both your impact and recognition

Beaver Points are used for:
