About the speakers:
William Massey, Ph.D. is an associate professor of kinesiology at OSU and director of the Youth and Young Adults Research Core at the Hallie Ford Center for Healthy Children and Families. His current research focuses on youth sports' impact on mental health, with recent projects funded by the Movember Foundation and Women’s Sports Foundation. He is also a youth sports coach of 10+ years and a consultant for organizations engaged in youth development via play and physical activity.
Diana Cutaia is the president and founder of Coaching Peace, working with schools, organizations and global companies to foster positive and empathetic cultures. She pioneered the first academic program in Sport-Based Youth Development at Wheelock College and has taught courses and led presentations on topics ranging from leadership and coaching to gender equity to sportsmanship. A former athletic director and women’s basketball coach, Diana now leads initiatives to create positive social change through sports.
