One Pot Dinner | Oregon State Tailgate at Home
One Pot Dinner
1/2 to 1 lb ground turkey or beef
3/4 lb bacon, cut into small pieces
1 cup chopped onions
2 small cans of pork and beans (or any combination of beans)
1 -16 oz can of kidney beans (drained)
1 -16 oz can of lima beans (drained)
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
3 Tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
Brown meat in skillet. Drain off fat and put in a large slow cooker. Brown bacon and onions in skillet. Drain off fat and put bacon and onions in slow cooker with other remaining ingredients. Stir together well. Cover and cook on low 4-8 hours.
