Keith Dempsey, ’93, M.S. ’96, Ph.D. ’10: Oregon State’s 2023 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alumni Legacy Award recipient. A licensed professional counselor with a focus on serving Black and African American communities in the Portland area.  

Olivia Quiroz, ’05: Executive director for the Oregon Latino Health Coalition who helped pass historical health equity legislation to expand Medicaid coverage to adults regardless of their immigration status. 

Mary Deits Rousseau, ’71: Retired chief judge for the Oregon Court of Appeals and a national trailblazer for women in the courts.
